Mission and Purpose
At 902 Hoops Elite Youth League, we are dedicated to helping young athletes develop advanced skills early, believing that those with elite potential—or the drive to achieve it—deserve a program that meets their level of ambition.
Our mission is to immerse athletes in the full, authentic game of basketball from an early age, offering a challenge without limiting the rules or gameplay. By fostering growth through real competition and expert coaching, we aim to accelerate their development. We also prioritize tracking each athlete’s progress, allowing us to create a personalized portfolio that promotes continuous improvement and sets the foundation for long-term success.
Through this program, we aim to develop athletes who can thrive at home in Nova Scotia, equipped with the tools and skills to excel on a global stage. Whether they choose to compete locally or internationally, our athletes will be prepared to compete anywhere in the world.
Off the court, we guide players toward post-secondary opportunities, emphasizing the value of life skills, character development, and thoughtful planning to ensure they are prepared for both their basketball journey and life beyond the game.
LEAGUE DETAILS
Structured Divisions
U10, U12, U14, & U16, for male & female divisions.
8 Team max in each division
Extensive Season (September – April)
Participate in a 21-game regular season followed by playoffs.
Each team will play every team a minimum of 3 times over the season.
FIBA Rules
Develop under consistent FIBA rules to ensure consistent development.
No modifications to the rules at any level.

Full team and player stats provided for every game.
